BlitzClick Software releases Savvy Clipboard 2.6

BlitzClick Software today released Savvy Clipboard 2.6, an update to its popular clipboard manager for Mac OS X on PowerPC and Intel-based Mac's.

About Savvy Clipboard

Savvy Clipboard is a handy clipboard manager for Mac OS X that stores a list of items the user copied to the Clipboard. It facilitates copying and pasting repeated items, as well as storing frequently used data fragments of various types. Also, it comes with handy features for working with text fragments, passwords and email addresses, editing text items, marking them with descriptions, and more.

About Version 2.6

Version 2.6 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). It offers improved compatibility with iWork 2008 through support of additional data formats. Other enhancements improve the overall stability and add more convenience in using the keyboard shortcuts.

  1. Full compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
  2. Improved compatibility with iWork 2008 (support for additional data formats used in iWork).
  3. The streamlined functionality of shortcuts: for the shortcut combinations with number keys, you can now use both the alphanumeric keyboard and the numeric keypad.
  4. Improved overall stability of the program.
  5. A number of bug fixes and minor improvements.

Savvy Clipboard 2.6 is available as a download from www.blitzclicksoft.com/products.php.
It comes as a shareware version.
Upon registration, the extended features become available (e.g., you can then edit clipboard text and specify how many clipboard items Savvy Clipboard — as well as its Popup Menu — should store).

For users of the previous versions of this clipboard manager, the update is available for free.
