Savvy Clipboard 2.8.2 — an Update from BlitzClick Software

BlitzClick Software today released Savvy Clipboard 2.8.2, an update to its popular clipboard manager for Mac OS X on PowerPC and Intel-based Mac's.

About Savvy Clipboard

Savvy Clipboard is a handy clipboard manager for Mac OS X that stores a list of items the user copied to the Clipboard. It facilitates copying and pasting repeated items, as well as storing frequently used data fragments of various types. Also, it comes with handy features for working with text fragments, passwords and email addresses, editing text clippings, marking items with descriptions, exporting and printing the items, and more.

About Version 2.8.2

Version 2.8.2 contains fixes to the issue with copying images (capturing screenshots, etc.) on some systems.

Version 2.8.1 contains the following improvements:

  1. Compatibility with popular typing productivity utilities: Text Expander, Typinator, and PopChar X. The strings placed to the system Clipboard by these programs (text snippets, etc.) will now be filtered out automatically, so that they do not get to the Savvy Clipboard list.
  2. Several minor improvements.

Availability

Savvy Clipboard 2.8.2 is available as a download (1.1 MB) from the developer's website:

It comes as a shareware version.
Upon registration, the extended features become available (e.g. you can then edit text clippings, including URLs, and have a list that stores as many items and you want).

For users of the previous versions of this clipboard manager, the update is available for free.
